Japan Earthquake
Following the earthquake in Japan, the 6th graders became virtual reporters about the disaster.
Cyberbullying
6th Grade watched the movie Adina's Deck: Episode 1 and discussed Cyberbullying. After the movie and discussions, they created comics about Cyberbullying and how to deal with it using Microsoft Word.
While most of Middle School was off to C.I.M.I., the few students who stayed behind had some fun in the Computer Lab creating a web site that includes a collaborative drawing done by all of the students drawing at the same time, Vokis welcoming you to each page and a Wordle of the things each student loves or is passionate about.
International Dot Day 2010
In celebration of International Dot Day on September 15th-ish, 6th Grade listened to The Dot by Peter Reynolds. They then drew their own dot (or dots) using MS Paint. We hope that you enjoy the Middle School Dot Day Gallery!
